Build prompts: a step-by-step guide

See how to select cards, generate a complete prompt, and use it in your AI coding tool.

How build prompts work
Starter or AI Connect?

Starter is $1.99/workspace/month and includes requests, roadmap, changelog and copyable multi-card build prompts. AI Connect is $2.99/workspace/month total and adds a scoped connection for Base44’s editor chat at launch. Both start with a first 30-day card-backed trial. Base44 is the first launch integration. Other tools can use copyable build prompts.

Your agreed price is protected

Keep your agreed recurring price while you continuously subscribe to the same plan. A voluntary plan change or a new subscription after cancellation uses the offer you confirm then. Taxes and your own AI provider’s charges are separate.

Change plans without starting again

Use Change plan in Account & billing, then Review change. You see the exact current and new recurring price and next charge date before confirming. Plan access changes immediately, with no prorated charge or refund; the new base price begins on your existing next charge date. Your current trial is neither extended nor ended early. Moving to another plan gives up the earlier plan’s protected rate.

Connect Base44 (beta)

Open Connect your AI and choose Base44. Follow the three steps to add the connection address to Base44, approve access, then paste your first read-only task into its editor chat. Sign in to feedba.cc, choose one workspace, select cards or public workspace access and confirm permissions. No secret key belongs in a chat prompt. Start read-only; writes and private sources need separate consent. Base44 refreshes short-lived tokens until the chosen connection expiry. Revoke the grant in Connect your AI at any time, including after cancelling a subscription. The tool cannot publish, delete, change privacy or billing, or manage teammates. Other direct integrations are not included at launch. Choose My AI tool isn’t listed to save a private request from the tool list. You can revise or clear it; this is not an email subscription or a release-date promise. Both plans include Copy build prompt.

Where do I choose the requests Base44 can access?

Click Authorize & Add in Base44 to open a separate feedba.cc authorization window. Sign in if asked. On Choose what your AI can access, use Choose one workspace to select your product name, then select requests and click Authorize selected access. This is not a settings page you open from the normal dashboard. If Connect your AI already confirms Permissions already approved, continue to the first read-only task instead. An Enabled badge in Base44 alone is not proof of saved feedba.cc permissions.

Recover or stop an AI connection

Open Connect your AI, review its history and revoke the connection to stop future calls and OAuth token refreshes. Revocation remains available after cancelling your workspace subscription. If a write outcome is uncertain, do not ask the AI to repeat it with a new operation key. Inspect the affected card first, then use Review interrupted action to acknowledge recovery. This never re-executes the old action. AI completion notes are reports by the agent—not independent verification of code or deployment.

Get your feedba.cc into your app

Create a workspace and activate its trial. In your workspace dashboard, copy the portal link or the setup prompt. Paste the prompt into your AI development tool, or add the link to your navigation or help menu with the visible label “Feedback”. Your users do not need to recognize feedba.cc to understand the link. No API keys, scripts, or webhook setup is needed.

Bring over an existing request

Open Feedback in your workspace and add the request. Choose a category, describe the problem, and set the status. Use Other when a request does not fit a category. New workspaces start with useful categories already created.

Submitters do not need to buy feedba.cc

Anyone may browse approved public feedback. Signing in is required to submit, vote, comment, or follow. Only the workspace owner pays for the workspace. Public participants are not internal teammates and do not consume a teammate seat.

Why a new request is not public yet

Public submissions wait for a workspace administrator or moderator to approve them. Declined submissions remain private. A later roadmap decision to reject an approved request is a separate action; rejected roadmap items are hidden publicly unless that workspace enables them.

Build from several cards at once

In the admin Requests or Roadmap screen, select one or more cards and choose Build prompt. Add your goal and constraints, generate the prompt, then review, edit and copy it into your AI development tool. The server includes each selected description and optional visible discussion. It is a structured prompt compiler, not another AI model. Up to 100 cards fit in a batch; larger sources must be split, never silently dropped. Generating a prompt does not move cards or publish anything.

Publish what shipped

In Changelog, select completed public cards to create a private draft, or write an update from scratch. Edit the rich text, preview it, and confirm publication. The draft starts with request titles: review what actually shipped. Updates have shareable links and links back to public requests. Editing an existing published update does not broadcast another email. Card statuses stay under your control.

Invite a teammate

Open workspace Users and choose an email and role. The launch plan includes five internal teammates, counting pending invitations. An invitation link is also available to copy, so setup does not depend on email delivery. The recipient must sign in with the invited email address.

Attach screenshots safely

Attach up to three images, PDFs, or text files per request, up to 5 MB each. Files upload privately when you submit, not as soon as you select them. Access follows the feedback item’s visibility. If an upload fails, retry the remaining attachments without submitting the request again.

Choose when to receive updates

Use Subscribe to updates on a product’s feedba.cc. Choose as changes happen, a daily summary, a weekly summary, or no product emails. Daily summaries become due after 9 am in the selected time zone; weekly summaries after 9 am Monday. There is no empty summary when nothing changes. Delivery depends on the scheduled email service being operational. You can unsubscribe from published updates, turn off updates to your own requests, or mute one request. Account-wide opt-outs override individual product settings. Billing and security emails are separate.

Billing and cancelling

The first trial lasts 30 days, then the workspace renews at its agreed selected-plan price: initially $1.99/month for Starter or $2.99/month for AI Connect. A card is collected when the trial starts. Open Account & billing to manage the payment method or cancel. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. A used trial is not restarted when a subscription is resumed.

Checkout succeeded but activation is still pending

Use Check activation again on the setup screen. It verifies the checkout on the server and can recover from a delayed billing notification. Do not start another checkout or create another account.

A screen is not loading

Reload the screen once. Check that you are signed in with the expected account and use My workspaces to open the correct product. A moderator cannot open administrator-only settings. If the problem persists, email support@feedba.cc with the page and error code using the contact link below. Never include passwords, payment-card details, or login links.

What the product analytics record

Optional first-party browser analytics stay off until you allow them in Privacy choices. You can decline or change your choice without losing core features. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also keep those events off. Our optional events do not record sessions, keystrokes or form text. Necessary account, payment, security and requested-action records remain separate. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
